JUDY BUCKLAND has a Bachelor's degree in
French and Education from Emory & Henry College and pursued graduate studies in Theatre Education from the University
of Miami.
She received her professional training in acting, directing,
and choreography from the Alliance Theatre School in Atlanta, Georgia and the Player's State Theatre Conservatory, in Coconut
Grove, Florida.
Ms. Buckland taught Improvisation and Experimental Theatre
for the Miami Dade Community College, was Education Director for the Actor's Playhouse and Coordinator of the National
Children's Theatre Festival. She also served as Drama Superintendent for the Dade County Youth Fair.
As Artistic Director for the Poseidon Theatre and Inscape
Productions, she produced two original plays, Atlantis Rising and Sobornost.
Judy has performed in productions including I, Anastasia
and numerous interactive murder mysteries.
She has been teaching at The L.A. Acting Workshop for the past 10 years, and heads the L.A. Acting
Teen Players troupe.
