She
holds degress in English, Speech, and Drama from Boston Unversity as well as an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts/Acting from the California
Institute of the Arts. Amy Allen has also attended the prestigious East 15 School of Acting in London.
As an actress, Amy has worked in theatre, television, and commercials, and is a member of SAG,
AFTRA, and AEA. Having worked in all facets of the entertainment community, her credits include casting, production,
and research, and is both a show Producer and show Director. Having taught at many colleges and universities in
the Los Angeles area, Amy is a well-respected professor in the academic community. Ms. Allen was nominated for and won
two coveted L.A. Drama Critics awards.
Amy is frequently called upon to share her expertise within the artistic community
and serves as both lecturer and judge for various talent and modeling showcases and competitions including the well-known
IMTA.
