AMY GATES began as a student at the L.A. Acting Workshp in 2002. She became Summer Camp Assistant shortly
there after and held this position for the following 3 years. Director Amy Allen then offered Ms. Gates the position
of personal assistant for both the L.A. Acting Workshop and it's sister company, The Backstage Tour.
Amy Gates has been in many L.A. Acting Workshop productions, such as "Little Shop of Horrors," "The Time Warp," and "Criminals."
She has also been Assisant Director to Stacy DeZutter, Josh Eleazer, and Brandy Estep for such productions as "Mary Poppins,"
"Peter Pan," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Beauty and the Beast."
A senior graduating from Olympia High School in 2008, Amy plans on attending Flagler College as a Psychology Major.
When not at school, working at L.A. Acting Workshop, or volunteering at Give Kids the World, Amy enjoys thrifting, conversations
over tea, debates, and having fun.
